Social Services
The College has taken up the Corporate Social Responsibility in serving the society through various social service activities involving the management, faculty members and the students.
The College has been trying to sensitize the student community on its social obligations and the need to exploit engineering and technology to social empowerment and development. Students are sensitized not only in local issues but also in various global social issues so that the students are developed as responsible citizens of the world.
Some of the recent initiatives are
College student group adopted nearby villages Pigilipur and Batasingaram to create awareness among villagers over AIDS, family planning, Clean and Green activity and Education . As part of Clean and Green we taken up plantation in the local school premises.We identified problems in view of water, power supply,lack of facilities for education and submitted a requisite letter to the District Collector.
We are arranging Seminars by well known social activists like Sri murali mohan, Ms akkineni amala, Sri krishnudu,to motivate the students in that regard.
National Conference on Climate Change and Its Impacts on Life and Water Resources with the help of the Ministry of Earth Sciences Government of India.
