The Annamacharya Institute of technology and sciences has the  following UG branches.

With 60 intakes in each branch the intake is going to be increased in CSE and ECE

     The UG program is of four years duration leading to the award of B.Tech degree specialization. First year is yearly pattern and remaining three years is of semester pattern. A student shall register and put up minimum attendance in 224 credits and earn 216 credits. Marks obtained in the best 216 credits shall be considered for calculation of the percentage of marks attained by a student. The entire course of study is for four academic years however a student has to complete the course within eight academic years from the year of admission. Student who scores 70 percent above will be awarded B.Tech degree with first class with distinction. Below 70 percent not less than 60 percent is first class. Below 60 percent not less than 50 percent is second class. Below 50 percent not less than 40 percent is passing.

The course structure is as follows.

      The institute offers PG programs in the streams MBA and MCA. The MBA program is of two years duration with complete program in semester system only. The duration of course is of two years but a student is allowed to complete the course in not less than two academic years and not more than four academic years. A candidate shall be eligible for MBA award degree if he satisfies minimum academic requirements in every subject and secures (satisfactory) report on his thesis or dissertation. First class with distinction 70 percent and more, first class below 70 percent but not less than 60 percent, second class below 60 percent but not less than 50 percent, below 50 percent but not less than 40 percent is pass.

    The MCA program is of three years duration with complete program in semester system. A student shall be declared eligible for the award of MCA degree if he pursues the course of study and complete it successfully in not less than three academic years and not more than six academic years from the year of admission. There will be a seminar presentation in 6th semester. A candidate shall be deemed to the secured minimum academic requirements in a subject if he secures a min. of 40 percent of marks in the end examination and min. aggregate of 50 percent of total marks in end semester examination and internal evaluation together first class with distinction 70 percent and more, first class below 70 percent but not less than 60 percent, second class below 60 percent but not less than 50 percent, below 50 percent but not less than 40 percent is pass.

	Seminars
	Regular seminars are conducted with participation of both  staff and students and also visiting experts .The students are provided all required facilities like LCD’s ,overhead projectors, mike arrangements for conducting group discussions , leadership programs, personality development sessions, expert and extension lectures, specia1 lecture are also arranged for benefit of students.
Sports
The college believes in the saying “A healthy body, healthy mind”. The college encourages extra/co-curricular activities in fields of sports and culture and provides adequate recreational facilities   to its students.  The institution has spacious well developed Play grounds, equipment for cricket, Basket ball, volley ball, Badminton, shuttle is available. Equipment for indoor games like Table Tennis, chess and caroms is also available. The above sports are played under the able guidance of Physical directors mentioned. The college conducts sports events and tournaments aiming to groom good players by encouraging their talents and takes them to National and International levels
	Cultural programs:
	The institute organizes annual day every year besides conducting other cultural activities. An open air theatre is being planned which should be shortly available for cultural programs. The institute promotes items like dance, drama, music, literary activities like debate, quiz, etc..
