The Library supports the teaching and research programmes of the Institute and provides facilities for general reading and disseminates information according to the requirement of the users. It is housed in a separate building with a plinth area of 650 sq. mtrs. It has around 17742 books, back volumes, technical pamphlets, standards, CD-ROMS. The total cost of the books is Rs. ----- and it has 76 national Journals and 55 international journals. The services and operations in the Library are fully computerized. The database of entire Library acquisitions was created using LIBSYS software and it works under NT environment. The main server is Xeon Server-Dual CPU (DELL PE 2900).
The Library is kept open throughout the year except on Government Declared Holidays.
The current working hours are:
Monday to Saturday 9.00 A.M. To 4.00 P.M.
All readers are expectedly to maintain discipline in the library.
The Library has campus LAN connectivity through the Computer Center.
The enrolment of Membership will be extended to all the bona fide students of UG/PG/ M.Tech. Programmes, Research Scholars and Faculty, Administrative Officers and Ministerial and supporting staff of the Institute. The prescribed Membership forms can be had from the circulation counter.

The users can pick up the document of his choice from the Stack-room. The user has to enter particulars of the book i.e. Acc. No. Class. No. and initials in the Borrower card and present the same with Member ID Card for issue of books.
All the books borrowed from the Library should be returned on or before the date stamped on the due date slip failing which overdue charges Rs. 1/- per day per book will be collected. Receipt has to be obtained in the counter.
In case of loss or damage of book, the user has to replace the latest edition of the book or pay the price as per rules prescribed by the Library.
