Dr .V.V. Ramana Rao is a man of excellent academic record with wide national and international exposure. A highly experienced and able administrator, Dr Rao charioteers the organization towards progress.
Dr Rao obtained his B.E. degree in mechanical engineering from Andhra University in the year 1964 and M.E. in IC Engines form I.I.Sc Bangalore in the year 1966 and he was awarded Ph.D degree for his thesis entitled “UNSTEADY BLADE FORCES IN TURBO MACHINES” from IIT New Delhi in the year 1982. Having nearly 42 years of experience in teaching profession. Dr. Rao held many positions during his career.
He has several National & International publications to his
credit. |

Global
advances in computer and computer related fields have created a
transformation in the manufacturing of Electronic components and a
change in the environment for the necessities with enormous demand for
technical and trained persons in the fields of computers, information
technology etc.
Keeping in the view of the revolutions that are made in electronic field, the Institute started the courses originally with only in related fields namely CSE, ECE, EEE & IT with intake of 60 students in each stream. Further in view of heavy demand existing for Computer Applications personal and considering demand on management side the Institute has added additional Post Graduate courses in Master of Computer Applications and Master of Business Administration.
At present the following courses are run with 60 intake in each.

Department of Computer Science Engineering

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering is one of the important departments of the AITS College offering B.Tech degree Course in CSE.
The department has a network of about 300
computers running various platforms such as Linux, Windows-NT and
Novell Netware and Windows 2000 operating systems in support of
academic programs.
Most of the modern computer
language processors are also available for the students. The
Department has also procured the latest state-of-the-art tools for
applications developments such as Visual Studio, MS-Office,
Oracle, 3D Home and the like.

Separate Digital Electronics and Hardware Labs are also established for the students. The areas in which the Department specializes include image processing, knowledge based system development, Pattern recognition, Natural language etc. The department programs are carried on under the guidance of highly qualified staff members and highly qualified supporting staff. |

In addition to having all the facilities which are meant for CSE department. The
department of IT has a most modern IT Work shop in which the
students are exposed to a lot of Hardware aspects of computers.
The course covers the areas like Operating Systems, Software
Engineering, Communication Network, Information Systems, Internet
Technologies, Data ware housing, Installation of Operating
Systems, Software packages, Multi media and Latex.
The department programs are carried on under the guidance of
